OVERVIEW

The automotive industry has spent the last several years chasing AI. The investment cycles are real, the announcements are constant, and the pressure to deploy something has never been higher. What has received far less attention is the foundation those investments actually require, and the cost of skipping it.

AutoMobility Advisors and Strategy are hosting a live conversation about that foundation. The session is grounded in our joint white paper, Enterprise Intelligence Before Artificial Intelligence, and goes deeper on the questions automotive leaders are wrestling with right now. What does enterprise intelligence look like in production inside an OEM, a dealer group, or a fleet operator? Why has the semantic layer become the central organizing concept for serious automotive data strategy? And where does the inflection point sit between AI investments that compound into durable advantage and AI investments that quietly become technical debt?

George Ayres will moderate a candid discussion with Asim Lilani from Strategy, alongside AMA’s Allen Levenson and Anoop Tiwari. The panel brings together the platform perspective from one of the world’s leading enterprise intelligence vendors and the consulting perspective from advisors who work inside automotive organizations every day. Expect direct talk about what’s working, what isn’t, and what it actually takes to move from dashboard fragmentation to governed, trusted intelligence at scale.

If you are an OEM executive evaluating data platforms, a dealer group CTO untangling reporting systems, a fleet technology leader building for scale, or a data and analytics leader making the business case for governance investment, this hour will give you both the strategic framing and the practical reference points to sharpen the conversation inside your own organization.

What We’ll Cover

The webinar will examine why enterprise data intelligence is the strategic priority right now, not a precondition for AI someday. The panel will walk through the architecture of modern enterprise intelligence and the role of semantic governance in producing consistent, defensible metrics across business units. We’ll discuss the AI Cost Acceleration Curve and the financial dynamics of unstructured AI adoption, including where compute cost and data quality constraints begin to compress returns. And we’ll share what real-world deployments look like across the automotive ecosystem, from Porsche’s standardized dealer analytics to Sonic Automotive’s unified retail reporting to large-scale embedded analytics across thousands of distributed users.

This is a working conversation for people responsible for the decisions, not a product demo and not a 101 on AI.

PANELISTS:

Moderator: George Ayres, Managing Director, AutoMobility Advisors

  • Asim Lilani – Global VP, Value Engineering & GTM, Strategy
  • Allen Levenson – Director, Data & Analytics, AutoMobility Advisors
  • Anoop Tiwari – Principal Consultant, AutoMobility Advisors

AI & IoT in Connected Vehicles webinar

OVERVIEW

The data is flowing. The question is whether anyone has figured out how to turn it into revenue that lasts.

AutoMobility Advisors and Devox Software are hosting a live conversation on the strategic realities of connected vehicle monetization — not the theory, but what’s actually working, what isn’t, and what it takes to build services that consumers and fleets will pay for month after month.

This is a candid discussion between the consulting and engineering teams behind our joint white paper, AI & IoT in Connected Vehicles: Driving New Revenue Streams. We’ll go deeper on the monetization frameworks, the Big Tech vs. OEM battle for the cockpit, and the regulatory shifts that are forcing strategic pivots right now.

If you’re responsible for connected services, digital revenue, or product strategy at an automaker, supplier, or mobility company, this is the conversation you’ve been looking for.

What We’ll Cover

The webinar will address how AI and IoT convergence is reshaping the way OEMs, technology partners, and fleet operators capture value beyond the point of sale. We’ll examine the economics of subscription fatigue and why feature-based monetization is failing in certain segments while predictive maintenance SaaS is scaling in others. The panel will discuss what the EU Data Act and emerging U.S. state privacy laws mean for data ownership and platform architecture. And we’ll share lessons from a real Devox case study where a heavy-duty OEM with 50,000 connected vehicles transformed telematics data into a recurring revenue product.

This isn’t a product demo. It’s a strategic conversation for people making decisions in this space.

PANELISTS:

Moderator: George Ayres, Managing Director

  • Dan Teeter – Advisory Director

  • Chip Goetzinger – Solutions Director

  • Kostiantyn Gitko CEO, Devox Software

  • Vadym Zotov Commercial Director, Devox Software

Making a Connection: Modernizing Legacy IT in the Connected Car Era

OVERVIEW

The automotive industry stands at a technological crossroads. As vehicles evolve into software-defined platforms, the legacy IT systems that once powered operational efficiency now pose significant barriers to innovation. Making a Connection explores this transformation through the lens of collaboration—how automakers, technology providers, and data platforms can bridge decades-old infrastructure with the demands of the connected, autonomous era.

Developed jointly by AutoMobility Advisors (AMA) and Northern Lights, this work examines the critical challenges and opportunities shaping the modernization of legacy automotive IT. It delves into integration strategies, data governance, and the essential role of scalable cloud architectures in creating a unified, intelligent mobility ecosystem. It offers a practical roadmap for technology leaders, OEMs, and solution providers seeking to align legacy systems with next-generation vehicle connectivity.

In this webinar, we will cover:

• Where legacy IT creates friction for connected vehicle programs and software-defined features
• Practical integration patterns to connect old and new systems without full “rip and replace” programs
• Approaches to data governance and cloud architecture that support scalable, secure vehicle data
• How to use collaboration between automakers, technology partners, and data platforms to move modernization forward
• Real-world examples from AutoMobility Advisors and Northern Lights client work

With perspectives from both AutoMobility Advisors and Northern Lights Technology Development, this webinar offers a grounded, implementation-focused view of how to move legacy IT forward in the connected car era.

OVERVIEW

As electric vehicles (EVs) continue gaining market share, residual values have emerged as a defining force in the long-term viability of the EV ecosystem. Unlike traditional internal combustion vehicles, EVs present a complex value equation—shaped by evolving battery technologies, government incentives, supply chain fluctuations, and rapidly shifting consumer demand.

AutoMobility Advisors’ upcoming webinar takes a closer look at the distinctive factors influencing EV residual values and how these forces are transforming the used car market, lease structures, and risk models across the automotive value chain.

In this exclusive session, we’ll explore:

  • Depreciation Patterns: What makes EV depreciation behavior different—and more volatile—than that of gasoline-powered vehicles.

  • Battery Health & Tech Evolution: The role of battery performance, range degradation, and fast-changing product cycles in shaping long-term value.

  • Incentives & Regulatory Shifts: How tax credits, state subsidies, and compliance mandates impact vehicle pricing and perceived resale value.

  • Market Risk & Economic Forces: The influence of tariffs, interest rates, and global supply pressures on used EV valuations.

  • Leasing Trends: Why leasing is the dominant financing method for EVs—and what this means for future vehicle availability and pricing.

With perspectives from both market analysts and industry stakeholders, this webinar offers a practical look at where residual value trends are headed—and how OEMs, lenders, dealers, and investors can better manage risk in this evolving landscape.
